Performing Arts for Catholic Kids is an initiative to bring the dramatic arts to Catholic children in the Baltimore area.

Production of The Sound of Music COMING in Fall 2025!

This is to collect interest levels of participants.  With enough interest we plan to purchase the license for Sound of Music Jr., a one-hour production to be performed on November 21st and 22nd.  Auditions will take place on August 22nd.  The directors ensure that all children who audition will be given a role.  Each actor will be charged $50 to cover the costs of the licensing fee and stage rental.   This production is limited Catholic children ages 5-17 only.  Parents will provide costumes, set pieces, and props.  Actors may also be assigned stage crew roles if necessary.  Rehearsals and the performances will take place at St. Joseph, Fullerton.  Rehearsals are scheduled on Fridays between 2:30-4:30PM.  Only lead actors will be required to attend every rehearsal.  A call list will be sent weekly.  We are hoping to also offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for ages 3-6 during play practices in order to give younger siblings a fruitful activity.  This can only be accomplished with YOUR support.
